Future Travel Experience (FTE), part of the APEX family, today announced that Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will host FTE Global 2023, to be held September 19-21, 2023 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California.
FTE Global is widely recognized as “the CES of aviation”. Sixteen years after its launch in Las Vegas, the show is now moving to Los Angeles, where it will be held alongside APEX EXPO 2023.
This move will support FTE’s ambitions to create the largest gathering of airline executives in North America to learn, collaborate and be inspired by their next moves to transform passenger experience, business performance, innovation and the sustainability strategies of their organizations.
“We are investing billions of dollars in modernizing Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) ahead of the 2028 Olympics, with the goal of making our airport an industry leader in technology, efficiency and customer experience,” said Justin Erbacci, President and CEO, Global Airports Los Angeles. “Our capital program is transforming the entire passenger experience, from curb to gate, and FTE Global 2023 gives us the opportunity to showcase this transformation to an audience of airports, airlines airlines, suppliers, government agencies and industry players. In partnership with the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, we’ll show attendees the best of Los Angeles in concert with an exceptional conference and networking experience.
Daniel Coleman, Founder and CEO, Future Travel Experience, added, “We are thrilled to partner with LAWA to bring FTE Global to Los Angeles and share our premises with APEX/IFSA EXPO in 2023. This move marks a natural progression for the show, and it will help us organize our biggest and most powerful event yet. Through our high-quality conferences and large-scale exhibition, we will once again champion the boldest new ideas, technologies, products, services and collaborations from around the world. Our overarching goal is to help ensure that individually and collectively, we are all doing everything in our power to transform travel for the benefit of the passengers we serve and our planet.
“LAWA is a fantastic global example of an airport operator that is committed to working with stakeholders and investing heavily in facilities, technology, sustainability and passenger experience. I know our attendees will be very impressed with what they see when they come to LAX next fall. Additionally, California is a center of excellence for the technology, construction, service, travel, retail and entertainment industries. This will help us ensure our industry-leading exposure grows even stronger with inspiring showcases from vendors across the state, in addition to those we already attract from around the world. This mega-show in Los Angeles will offer more exclusives, more launches and more innovation than any FTE event to date.
Joe Leader, CEO, APEX/IFSA, said, “Travel is a true force for good, and there are many examples of travel players innovating to improve the passenger experience. The show will highlight and celebrate the best efforts from around the world and will undoubtedly be a catalyst for further progress in the industry.
