This award honors supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and example have laid the foundation for women at all levels of a company’s supply chain network.
MILWAUKEE, September 19, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — TEKLYNX International, known for its reliable barcode labeling software solutions and exceptional customer support that help supply chains run better, today announced its Global Chief Marketing Officer Jenna Wagner was named the winner of the Women in Supply Chain award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for the third consecutive year.
The 2022 Women in Supply Chain Award honors supply chain leaders and executives whose achievements, mentorship and example have laid the foundation for women at all levels of a company’s supply chain network . This year’s list includes people who have helped supply chain customers and the supply chain community as a whole prepare for many of the challenges of today and tomorrow.
“I’m honored to be on this list of supply chain leaders,” says Jenna. “Beyond the work TEKLYNX does to help make supply chains work better, I am passionate about inspiring other women to find their voice and confidence as leaders. Thanks to Supply & Demand Chain Executive for centering the work of women and their contributions to our respective industries across The Supply Chain.”
While Jenna was Global Marketing Director, new strategic partnerships were launched with other technology solutions providers in the supply chain. This ongoing partnership initiative results in comprehensive offerings for manufacturers worldwide, while ensuring seamless integrations, optimized printing, centralized labeling and limited waste throughout the supply chain.
Over the past year, Jenna has also led a strong integrated marketing campaign on how better connections help businesses become a more successful part of the supply chain. Under his leadership, TEKLYNX has developed videos, infographics and blog posts about better connections being the key to achieving scalability, quality, security, flexibility and efficiency.
“When I launched this award three years ago, I was ready for an uphill battle. I envisioned a long way to go to educate the supply chain industry enough on why it was important to recognize women in the supply chain. But, this award, the winners and those who submitted nominations is proof that supply chain organizations were already recognizing their women leaders; they just needed a best platform,” says Marina Mayer, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “This year we received over 280 entries. Almost 100 of those entries were from men. I am so proud of everyone who participated, men and women. I am proud to call these women mentors, role models and industry friends.”
